TEMA INTERESANTE, ÉCHALE UN OJO


Como muchos ya sabréis, este enero de 2010 dejé definitivamente la carrera de Bellas Artes. Fue una decisión dura, tomada tras meses de reflexión, una decisión que sigo creyendo que fue la correcta.
Bien, pues mis padres aprovechan la mínima ocasión para echarme en cara la "oportunidad perdida", porque, al parecer, si no tienes una carrera universitaria, no eres nada.
Normalmente no digo mucho cuando esto ocurre, me quejo un poco y acabo dándoles la razón para no discutir, pero ayer llegué a mi límite y les repliqué, y creo que gracias a ello encontré el argumento, el ideal artístico que estaba buscando para representarme.

"Sí, vale, ¿y qué tiene eso que ver con el título que has puesto?"
Teniendo como precedente una entrada que puse hace tiempo en mi blog (escondidosdelahumanidad.blogsp…), propongo la segunda parte del debate artístico que tantas veces viene a mi mente.

Me explico:

Según mi experiencia personal, en Bellas Artes (y en el mundo artístico en general) no puedes hacer nada si no tiene un punto filosófico, si no habla de algo más que lo que se ve representado, si no tiene un trasfondo que ocupe más que las dimensiones de la obra en cuestión, si no es antisistema o si no critica algo. Y eso es algo con lo que yo no puedo. Me da pena cuando veo obras de ese tipo, obras que no puedes disfrutar si no te las explican antes. Pero me da más pena que ahora nos enseñen a que, como es lo que se hace actualmente, sea lo que tenemos que hacer. ¿No podemos tener una meta propia? ¿No podemos hacer lo que nos guste? ¿No podemos ser, simplemente, nosotros?

Muchos se respaldarán, como ocurre en la entrada de blog antes mencionada o como me han rebatido en persona, en que si la obra no transmite algo no pasa de ser más que una obra decorativa. Pero ¿qué pasa si lo único que quiero representar es Belleza? Sea naturalisa o abstracto, ¿no puedo querer transmitir la belleza de lo que veo o imagino sin que mi obra quede relegada a ser "decoración"? ¿Qué pasa entonces con Da Vinci, Velázquez, Botticelli? ¿Son ellos decoradores por pintar aquello que veían?
No pretendo compararme a ellos, por supuesto, pero quiero que veáis la situación. ¿Y ahora qué? Ahora os veo a muchos de vosotros achacándolo a que "los tiempos han cambiado", y tanto quie han cambiado, ahora es mejor tener buena labia que tener buena técnica si quieres dedicarte al mundo del arte. Y si realmente tiene que ser así debido a la época, ¿por qué sigue la gente estudiando artes?

The first thing anybody would notice when they come in plain view of Rocco is his white raincoat. The forecast could be sunny with no chances of precipitation and Rocco would still remain in his raincoat— face completely covered. Most humans can spot him a mile away and always take off running without even a second thought. Those who do approach are normally greeting with a cautious smile and the removal of his hood. His dark walnut skin color shocks people since there are no visible marks or scars and always brings about the question of how he survives in the harsh living conditions of the world. Rocco wears colored contact lens in order to cover up the obvious brown eyed green speck flaw that all infected have. Since he never learned much about contacts, with the exception of putting them in, they have warped in color over the years and have turned from blue to The Kindhearted KillerGerimo

He stands at about six feet tall, with dark brown hair that sits comfortably on his shoulders. His eyes are brown with specks of green along the outer part of the iris. This is how one could tell when they were dealing with an infected human. When it comes to his attire, he finds it best to stay as professional as possible. He loves to throw on a snow colored button up shirt with black stripped slacks and a blood colored tie. A blazer is always optional and is normally never seen when he plans to go out "feasting." To draw less attention to his eyes, he wears small specks that he adjusts constantly with every new facial expression. In order to win over any "guest" he maintains a lever of cleanliness that forces him to give off a delightful smell of mint tea leaves.

Not So Inanimate Doll

In the market, pass the man that sells expensive dead fish, on the shelf of a merchant who is supposed to be selling fruit lives an 11-inch puppet. You approach with eyes ready for fruit but as you continue to stare at the doll, you find yourself almost in a daze. Its burgundy sew-through button eyes stare at you no matter when you move, its black double stitched mouth appears to be smiling in your direction. You shake your head as you could have sworn the puppet was frowning the moment you arrived at the merchant's stand. You look on, questing the merchant about the price of such an item.
The merchant picks up the doll and places it in your hands, swooning you with words of a curse and how the puppet had been a famous king. You look over the item in your hands; it was light and from the sudden squeeze-- stuffed with cotton. A giggle escapes from your lips The Sinful Paradox

If anyone, other than Leviticus, happen to lay eyes upon this bundle of grayish fur, they will find that she is nothing more than your ordinary possum with the ability to speak in human tongue. She would swear up and down that she is in shape but her rather large belly would argue otherwise. If she is not being held by her pious friend, she is able to walk a few distances before her out of shape body forces her to relax a bit. Her eyes are a constant whitish tone, with no pupil or iris color. Her snout is always fixated with a mischievous grin that could either mean that she is happy … or better yet plotting something.

I am not a human… I am a monkey. To be more detailed I am a Golden Lion Tamarin. I stand at an average height of five feet and eight inches. My entire body is covered with fur that's a lovely golden color like that of the setting sun. The mane on my face however is dark orange with hints of black-I am unsure as to which came first… the black or the dark orange. By nature I am a climber so my body is well defined with a visible muscular build.  When humans see me those ice-blue eyes of mine amaze them. I was told in my past that they were not always this color but I never took the time to investigate such an issue. As far as clothes are concerned I am forced to wear swim trunks whenever I am around others. I have no intentions on swimming and dislike water. Estoy muy contenta con el ritmo actual de mi Donation Poll. Al principio estaba un poco desanimada, ya que nadie participaba, creía que nadie se pasaba por mi cuenta o que a nadie le interesaba mis ofertas. Pero de repente ha empezado a haber movimiento. Comisons, features, y alguna que otra llama, y estoy muy feliz por ello ^^

También estoy muy feliz por mi futuro inmediato. Después de más de medio año de insufrible aburrimiento, viviendo a base de tocarme las narices, pelear con mi madre, mi padre y algún que otro listo que se cruzaba en mi monótona (pero divertida) vida, por fin, POR FIN, parce que todo vaya a tener un final. A partir del 27 de este mes voy a volver a tener una rutina de estudios, ¡y yo que creía que eso era una tortura! Estar en casa sintiéndose inútil, eso sí es una tortura.
Este 1 de Septiembre me acerqué a Alicante para recoger el sobre de matrícula, con un poco de suerte, podría arreglarlo todo ese día y esperar felizmente en Elche a que empezasen las clases.
Pero parece que ya era demasiado pedir.
Me tocó volver dos veces más a Alicante (no sé si por suerte o por desgracia) y conseguí entregar el sobre sin ningún tipo de problema. Y ayer llamé y me confirmaron que ya estoy dentro.
Ahora sólo queda esperar que pasen los días. ¡Deseadme suerte! >3<
Uff, madre mía, ¿quién iba a imaginar que esperaría un curso con tantas ganas? xDDD

Ah, para los que no lo sepan y se lo pregunten, voy a estudiar Ilustración ^^

¡¡Pero que calor que hace!! ¿No? En fin...

¿Recordáis que hace un par de Journals comenté que acababa de terminar de leer El Clan del Oso Cavernario?
¿No? Pues te aguantas.
Pues el otro día en CineTube encontré la película, apestaba a añeja, pero aun así le pedí a mi hermano que me la bajase (es con mis muñones no puedo xDD) y no me arrepiento en absoluto.
Dicen que siempre es mejor el libro que la película, que por lo general, esta está mal hecha y cosas así. Pero creo que en esta ocasión el único gran fallo es no contar con Neandertales en el reparto U___U xDD
Había pequeños fallos, alguna que otra adpatación, pero por lo general estaba muy bien llevada. Quizá muy rápida para los que han leído el libro, quizá muy extraña para los que no, pero me ha parecido una gran peli, al fin y al cabo.

En fin, es el turno de las Free Features que prometí ^^
